IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
A reminder to all local residents in our area that on Saturday 14th June all roads in Warton will be closed between 12pm until 2:00pm for the Warton Carnival Procession, we will aim to get roads open as soon as we can!
During the road closure there will be no access through Warton in any direction so please plan ahead and take an alternate route. If you are travelling from Austrey to Warton you are welcome to follow the procession but please do not pass our procession car
Please follow instructions from our VOLUNTEER road marshals who will be at all closure points and in the procession car to assist any motorists, we will not tolerate any abuse towards our marshals they are doing a job as authorised by the council to ensure the safety of participants and viewers. If you know you will not make it back to the village before 12pm please do not try to force your way through the closures, our marshals will let you through only when it is safe to do so.
